I was just made aware of a new sportsbetting site that is legal in the US and is free. Yup...that's right...FREE. The deal is that you get $0.10 each day to make bets for free. You can bet on all sports and if you win you get to keep the money. If you lose you get a new $0.10 the next day. The catch is that you can only cash out if you get to $10. Spitzer's Girl

This is reportedly the girl that Eliot Spitzer paid $4k+ per hour for a night of pleasure. I am very curious as to how good the sex must be for $4k for an hour since I only get $1k an hour myself, but I am cheap. No matter...she is pretty good looking and as one of the main tenants of this blog, all good looking woman deserve money in order to repopulate the world with other hot people (hopefully with my help!).

Fantasy Baseball - Draft 1

Yesterday was my first fantasy draft for the baseball season. Besides being wasted during the draft I think it went pretty well. I don't know about you but having beautiful woman promote anything is always a good idea and us humans should always support such an endeaver. Can anyone please tell me what Matt Damon was thinking when he married this woman? Anyone?? I'll take the silence as a no. Matt Damon has a bunch of hit movies, is a bonafide Hollywood stud, and can have any woman he wants. This girl must be the ultimate woman in bed ever...or else she has some fantastic blackmail on him. Or it could be that she does a mean bathroom remodeling...that gets some people...just ask the PaperBoy (when he is not watching Sex & the City).

Don't you just love March? You got March Madness, pre-season baseball, hockey, and basketball. This year March is even better for me as my teams are all good this year! I got USC in basketball (should be going to NCAA tourney), the Angels in baseball (expected to win AL West), the Ducks in hockey (good chance to win it all), and the Lakers in basketball (also a good chance to win it all). It should be a great month!!!!

You may be wondering what the picture has to do with this post. Nothing and everything. Nothing in that it has no bearing on March and everything in that this blog is on the 3 Bs and she certainly qualifies! If case you were curious, this is the British babe Jordan modeling her new lingerie line.

My War Diary

As I was flipping through the channels today I checked out a favorite of mine...the Military channel. I love watching the war footage, hearing about the wars, and learning about the military hardware. When I flipped to it today though I stumbled across a never before seen show: My War Diary. Let me just say it was right up my alley.

The show follows Alpha Company, a Marine Corp battalian in Iraq and follows them through their daily routine walking through Iraq, looking for IEDs, and questioning other Iraqis. It is amazing how they deal with it all and how they operate Even more amazing is seeing the Iraqi towns. What shanty-towns! Wow. I mean these are like adobe houses with people living on the floor. Being able to see Iraq and what is going on is fantastic and a must see for anyone before they complain about the war.

Overall I would recommend this show to everyone. You can get a really good idea of what America's finest do everyday to protect our freedom and way of life.

Boys of Summer

The Boys of Summer are back! Today marks the first pre season game. I literally cannot wait for baseball to start the regular season. The games, fantasy baseball, etc all make the season a blast. And let's not forget that my Anaheim Angels picked up Tori Hunter and Jon Garland this year, making them the favorites for the AL West and a good chance to go far into October. Let's play ball!

Ujogo

In my search for great places to play poker, I stumbled across Ujogo.com, an online poker site that is 100% free but gives out daily prizes in multi-table tournaments (MTTs). The best recurring prize they give out is a $25 gift certificate to Amazon.com. Currently, 4 Grinders play daily (or at least semi-daily) on the site...MattyKBG (known as JulieBrown), TonyB (known as abianchini23), Deepak (known as dvaziran), and myself (Socal1121). While it is a great time playing with my boys, the players on this site are absolutely AWFUL. So awful that I think I lose poker skill by playing at this site. That said, I'll probably continue to play here so that we can all play poker nightly together for free.

Why playing poker is good

Now I am not sure if I believe this story but it came from PR-Inside.com. I personally have never heard of them but it seems like a respectable site. Who knows nowadays though. Anyways, according to the story, Pamela Anderson was playing poker and lost $250,000 when a card shark offered to clear her debt in return for sex. As Pam put it, if she made out with him he would "clear the thing." She refuses to name the poker player but has since been quoted as saying:

"A couple of days went by and he followed me around like a puppy dog... I ended up paying off my debt... It worked out, I liked it... I paid off a poker debt with sexual favours and fell in love. It's so romantic."It was the first time I had played poker, obviously... He took advantage of me... We're in love, this is nice. He's a good guy."

How can she be in love with this guy? Wow. Not sure I believe it but an incredible story nonetheless. A real-life indecent proposal.

Week One is officially in the books. Now it is time to see what that means. Over all I have had an ok week. I lost where I can make it up and no permanent damage has occurred. Now on to the results:

Comments: Ouch. My team sucked. I had the lowest score in the league this week. 2 points from Vernon Davis, 5 from Thomas Jones, and -4 from the Dallas D all helped to contribute. I am going to have to do some serious looking at this team to ensure that this does not continue.

Well there you have it...my financial results for week 1. I am happy with my survivor and confidence pool results. I am alive and well in all 3 of those leagues. Now I just have to get working on my fantasy teams. Hopefully I can turn them around for week 2.

Football is Back

Football is back...and it is going to be a year to remember for me. This year I am playing in 2 Fantasy Football leagues, 2 Survivor leagues, and 1 confidence pool. Now a little about each of these to get you familiar:

Fantasy Football
League #1: XFLP Premiership
This is maybe the pinnacle of fantasy football leagues. It is essentially 2 leagues in one. You have the Auxiliary league where new players start and is more of a minor leagues. Then you have the Premiership league where the best of the best play. At the end of every year the bottom 3 players from the Premiership get relegated to the Auxiliary and the top 3 of the Auxiliary get promoted to the Premiership. It is very intense. It is run by The 30 yr old Gamer. The only thing this league is missing is being a keeper/dynasty league. This year, as in all other years, I am in the Premiership. Entry fee: $100. Top 3 get paid. I also have $5 side bets on highest weekly point total with Brenden, The 30 yr old Gamer, and Mike.

This is a monster league that my partners and myself have done fairly well in the past 3 years. Last year the pool had over 700 people ($70k!!!) and we got knocked out in 7th place. This year there are over 1k people ($100k!!!) and we plan to win it all. We have 5 teams in total.

League #2: XFLP Survivor League
This is the survivor league associated with the XFLP with only XFLPers allowed. Unfortunately this league is fairly small but I have done excellent here. I have won this league the past 2 years. I plan on holding onto my position as the King of Survivor again this year.

Confidence Pool
League: Elaine's pool
A yearly confidence pool with ~90 people where you rank your games without a point spread from 16 to 1. If your pick wins you get that many points. $5 per week per person. Top team each week gets $4 from each person. $1 per week per person goes to the top 3 overall at the end of the year. Last year I came in 2nd overall and won 1 week. I plan on coming in first this year.

So there you have it...the breakdown of my weekly football activities. I will also have weekly picks for betting and winning. Hopefully together we'll come out big winners at the end of the season.
